Have I mentioned my super awesome best friend, Shelly?  Besides the fact that she's super awesome, Shelly has been living in Benin, Africa working in the Peace Corps.  If you haven't checked out her blog, Bisous du Benin, then you really ought to.  Some of the work Shelly is doing involves a girls club and a girls day camp that she put on to educate girls in the community.  The highlight for me (since I only get to see pictures of these things) was the t-shirts that Shelly designed and had printed.  They are so great.  This picture isn't of her shirt, but a mock-up she made for another Volunteer who was doing a similar program.  It's a baby girl giraffe, then the giraffe is going to school and then she is dressed as a wealthy lady giraffe.  Underneath it says "Réalisez vos Rêves," which literally translated means, "Realize your Dreams" but I tend to think "realiser" is a more nuanced term, meaning visualize, create and achieve.  In french, a réalisateur is a director.   I think that's pretty neat, anyway.  Alors, vas-y, realiser quelque chose!
