I really love roasted vegetables.  I got these asparagus at the Farmer's Market today and roasted them in a hot oven (400*F) with salt, pepper and olive oil.  They weren't as greasy as they look in the photo and SUPER delicious.  I hope I have an oven in France, how else can you eat a vegetable without roasting it first? ;)

My brother brought me home a pastry from a new specialty shop near his work almost immediately after my last post.  Clearly the universe is conspiring for happy to win today.  Sweet. 

I would post a picture, but I ate it before I thought about it.  Guess I'll have to work on this blogging thing a bit.  Haha!
