Your Blog's Name
This feels like a pretty easy one, which is good because it's almost my bedtime. :)
I first started blogging when I studied abroad in the South of France during university. At that point, the only purpose of the blog was to keep in touch with my family and friends while I was away and to talk a bit about was I was doing and where I was going. Let's just say, these were simpler, non smart phone days.
At that point, my blog was katieincannes.blogspot.com (miracle! it's still exists here. Please don't judge tiny me.)
Years later, I decided to create a space that was more free in its content: I didn't want just a travel blog, or just a food blog, but more of a space where I could write what was on my mind at any given phase of my life. Hence, the domain name being fairly simple: kdrose.com, which, if you haven't noticed is my name (Katie!).
I also decided to give the actual blog a title, too, to differentiate the web space from the blog space, with an idea to have other, more static areas of the site where I could put up content or resources that people could link to (obviously that's less the case now). So I came up with Wanderlust, Grounded, meant to convey my homebody tendencies (baking, spending time with my family) and my sense of wanderlust and love of travel. The name of the blog very much is an indicator of two dichotomies in my life that I was grappling with at the time.
Do I love the name of my blog? Meh. Have I come up with a better title? Nope. As the Millionaire Matchmaker once pointed out: I can't use my powers on myself! So unless a different kind of inspiration hits, then I'm sticking with the status quo.
