I'm sorry for the lack of updates in the past couple of days. Two big things happened that caused this: 1) I went on vacation and 2) my computer - after an easy, breezy train ride to Paris - broke. I can still use about two-thirds of the screen, which, frankly, is about one-third less than I prefer to have when being on the computer. While having a broken computer makes me sad and cranky, being in the South of France and soaking up all the warmth it has to offer, is making up for my disdain.

The Scottish One and I decided that lunging by the beach would be a good way to spend ur day.

I really hope you were actually lunging, and that that was not, as I suspect it may be, a typo. I can just imagine the two of you lunging along from the Collège towards Quay's... and rewarding yourself with pints.

It was not chilly. It was actually the perfect temperature to be there, though the water was pretty cold.

Em - What do you mean typo? We were celebrating Tom's grasp of the English language and lunging around the beach to celebrate. ;)

Soo sorry to hear about your computer screen! That is no fun. Fun has GOT to be the South of France!! How did you manage to find an empty beach to "lunge" on? :)
